The Police Regional Office 7 (PRO7) turned-over brand new motorcycles to the different Police Stations in Central Visayas on December 10, 2012 held at the Regional Headquarters.
Officiated the blessing ceremony was PSUPT ARNULFO A CASTILLO, PRO7 Regional Chaplain. A total of seventeen (17) newly acquired 200 CC motorcycles were issued to Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO), Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO), Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office (NOPPO) and Cebu City Police Office (CCPO).
PRO7 Regional Director, PCSUPT MARCELO P GARBO JR., personally turned-over and handed the motorcycle keys to the following recipients: Alcantara PS, CPPO; Pinamungahan PS, CPPO; San Remegio PS, CPPO; Sibonga PS, CPPO; Tudela PS, CPPO; Bien Unido PS, BPPO; Dagohoy PS, BPPO; San Isidro PS, BPPO; Loon PS, BPPO; Siera Bullones PS, BPPO; Valencia PS, BPPO; Basay PS, NOPPO; San Juan PS, NOPPO; La Libertad PS, NOPPO; Tayasan PS, NOPPO; Villahermoso PS, NOPPO; and Parian PS, CCPO.
PCSUPT GARBO said that the motorcycles were issued from the National Headquarters of the Philippine National Police in Camp Crame, Quezon City. He likewise emphasized that the issuance is still part of the Chief PNP's 10 - Point Action Plan.
The recipient police stations represented by their respective Chief of Police were reminded to use the motorcycle for official functions and not for personal doings. The Regional Director also advised them to strictly follow the Standard Operating Procedures in motorpool maintenance.
With the issuance of the new motorcycles, PCSUPT GARBO also required the recipients to improve the quality of services to the community they are serving.
