PRO7 Holds Traditional New Year’s Call 2012 in Ceremonial Blue

As part of the customs and traditions of the Philippine National Police, key officers of Police Regional Office 7 (PRO7) holds its New Year courtesy call to PCSUPT MARCELO P GARBO JR, PRO7 Regional Director on January 16, 2012 at the Regional Headquarters.

The observance of New Year’s Call 2012 started with a thanksgiving mass officiated by PSUPT JAIME SERIÑA III, PRO7 Regional Chaplain at St Ignatius Church.

The activity considered unique from the previous practice because for the first in history of PRO7, all attendees wear the PNP Ceremonial Blue Dress with perching cap, awards and decorations.

Officers and personnel who paid the New Year’s call to the Regional Director include the Command Group, Directorial Staff, Personal/Special Staff, Provincial Directors, City Directors, Battalion Commander of RPSB7, Regional Training Director of RTS7, Chiefs of National Support Units, Protocol Officers and other officers of the Regional Headquarters.

PCSUPT GARBO wished his men for a fruitful 2012 and highly praised them for rendering untiring efforts and contributions in making 2011 a success.

The traditional New Year’s Call is a yearly traditional activity wherein all members of the command group, directorial, and special staffs, provincial and city directors, and other senior officers of regional headquarters pay a call to the regional director.
