CCPO named as Distinguished Police Office in Anti-Drug Operations in CV

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) awarded the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) as Distinguished Police Office in Anti-Drug Operations in Region VII on February 7, 2011 at the Regional Headquarters of PRO7.

CCPO City Director PSSUPT MELVIN RAMON G BUENAFE received the certificate for their outstanding accomplishments in the field of Anti-Drug Operations directly benefiting the people of Cebu City in neutralizing the effects of drug menace.

Another Certificate of Merit was also given to the PCOs and PNCOs of City Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operation Task Group (CAIDSOTG) of CCPO. They were commended for the invaluable services rendered in the campaign against illegal drugs which resulted to the arrest of well known drug personalities and recovery of almost a kilo of “shabu” in two separate operations conducted on November 9, 2010 and December 8, 2010.

Their unwavering dedication in anti-drug operations has greatly contributed to the national anti-drug campaigns which earned respect and appreciation from the people of Cebu City.
