Former CPPO Director, now NCRPO Deputy Director Visits PRO7

Promoted to Police Chief Superintendent, PCSupt Carmelo Espina Valmoria now the Deputy Regional Director for Operations in National Capital Regional Police Office conveys his thanks to the men and women of this PRO for the warm welcome. He urges them to make something different. In his message, PCSupt Valmoria shows his gesture to the gallant peacekeepers in the organization as they offered extreme sacrifice in the cause of peace and courage in their missions. He added, as the PNP attuned to the new millennium, there should be progress and change. All these can be achieved through the comprehensive programs in the police force such as the implementation of PNP Reform Commission in 2003, the Integrated Transformation Program in 2004 in response to a call for a solid program, the PNP Shelter Program in 2006 that highlights the PNP’s response to its personnel desire for decent shelter, bringing back the old glory of the police through its Mamang Pulis and Aleng Pulis Program in 2007, the “Lead PNP” took center stage in 2008 and the recent Chief PNP’s Eight Initiatives and Operational Imperatives. He believed that the organization of dedicated men and women who sworn to serve and protect is as strong as ever, staunchly moving towards a genuine transformation. In tracking the right road, the general stated that it’s never too late for reformation. In fact, he encouraged PRO7 personnel to start making difference.

PCSUPT Valmoria also handed the awards to deserving PNP7 units and personnel. In connection with the 16th Police Community Relations Month Celebration, plaques of recognition are given to Lapu-Lapu City Police Office as Best PCR Unit (City Police Office Unit Category); Regional Health Service 7 as Best PCR Unit (National Support Unit Category); PSInsp Maria Aurora L Rayos as Best PCR PCO (City Police Office Category); PInsp Christopher R Fernandez as Best PCR PCO (Provincial Police Office Category); SPO1 Rodito T Viovicente as Best PCR PNCO (City Police Office Category); and PO2 Jackelyn C Rosales as Best PCR PNCO (Provincial Police Office Category).

PCSupt Valmoria applauded the awardees for the implementation with utmost efficiency PCR impact projects which further improved police-community partnership in maintaining peace and order. Their untiring and relentless efforts in collaboration and support of the community served as proof of this year’s theme: “Matatag Na Ugnayan Ng Mamamayan at Kapulisan Tungo sa Mapayapa at Ligtas na Pamayanan” for which they can boost of, thereby living up to the highest standard of the organization.
